Many recent visitors have noted that they have had a difficult time finding contact information on my website. Unfortunately, it had to be so. Having a website puts your business's information on a world-wide stage, visible to both "good guys" (potential customers, friends and family) and "bads guys," namely spammers.

Spam (for those of you who have never heard of it) is basically junk mail in your e-mail in-box. Some of it is fairly innocent, like what comes via the USPS - advertising flyers, coupons, credit card offers and catalogs. There's a lot that you really don't want - offers to enlarge parts of your anatomy, even parts you don't have; get-rich-quick schemes, usually from overseas, and often saying someone has been killed by their government and the alleged writer is a relative trying to get riches out of the country; and, I'm sorry to say, pornography.

Since it's become a liability to have my e-mail address pasted in the middle of a page, open for anyone to steal, I've done the next best thing: here it is, but you'll have to type it in. I'm sorry that it has come to this, but my web-savvy colleagues have made the suggestion, and we'll have to see how it goes.
